Long weekends are the best. I've been bumming around in an oversized sweatshirt and my ugg slippers and watching an unhealthy amount of Charmed. It's beautiful. There is a project I should be working on but the procrastination bug bit me around fourth grade and I'm still infected. Why make life easy on myself anyway? Oh hey since my life isn't interesting whatsoever I have another picspam ;)

Okay, so it was weird watching a season 1 and a season 7 episode back to back. I've never done that before. So much has changed, it's ridiculous. You'd think it was a different show altogether. This is a rather long picspam due to Spike being a main focus in the episode. This is how my picspams will always go, minimum amount of Riley and maximum amount of Spike. If you don't like it, you can kindly leave :)

I have to do work right now? Can't I just walk around for a while in my coat?
A+, I totally thought that was Spike before the camera panned up to Andrew's face. Can I just say that Tom Lenk cracks me up. I follow him on twitter and he's hilarious. I didn't think a character introduced in the sixth season would fall into my favorites but Andrew is definitely up there. I kind of wish Andrew would have been around in the high school years. I feel bad for Jonathan but I'll explain why when I get to the episode in which he dies.

LOOK AT HOW THEY STARE INTO EACH OTHER'S SOUL. Just kidding. Kind of. I have nothing to say other than they're very pretty together, this is true. My commentary is getting worse and worse, I'm sorry.

DAWN: Her exact words were, "I've got stuff coming out of both ends."
PRINCIPAL WOOD: Thank you. That's very helpful.

It's great to see two seasons later you still haven't lost your awkward touch Dawn. I don't really like Principal Woods, 1. he tries to kill Spike 2. he hooks up with Faith 3. he's not that interesting. BRING BACK SNYDER XD

Spike can clearly get out of those ropes. I don't understand why he wasn't chained up in the basement from the start. They're still pretty together, even vamp faced. Maybe if I don't have anything productive to say I should leave the pictures by themselves. y/y?

Poor Buffy. I don't know what's harder for her. Dealing with First influenced Spike or newly ensouled thinks he has insight Spike. It's probably a tie. Willow and Buffy needed more scenes together in season 7. Well a lot of characters needed more scenes together but of course we had to make room for a stupid scene with Woods being all principaly among other useless little tidbits throughout the season. I'm not bitter or anything.

Willow is not to be trifled with! This is another one of those moments where after watching a season 1 episode you see dramatic character differences. Then again, scaring the pants off of Andrew isn't a difficult feat.

Anya makes an excellent bad cop. Look at her death stare in the second picture. Another woman not to be trifled with. This is basically Andrew's day from hell.

I can't stand blood. This scene made me feel nauseous so here you can have Buffy looking lovely and imagine the feeding scene for yourself.

Meaning I have come to redefine the words pain and suffering since I fell in love with you.
Ouch. Needed to be said though and I don't think it's that much of a dig at Buffy as it is to himself. Loving Dru was easy because they were both evil. Loving Buffy...evil isn't supposed to love good and I think that's where the pain comes from. He suffers from loving her because he can't have her. Look at me, I'm all insightful. Not. Why is Spike's nose ridiculously shiny in this episode? It bothers me.

lmao I love Anya and her deer shirt. I wonder if Xander was referring to himself when he was telling Andrew about the guy who she killed slowly by replacing his heart with darkness and making him live out his life like that. He better not because BITCH YOU'RE THE ONE WHO LEFT HER AT THE ALTAR. YOU DESERVE IT.

And just when you think Andrew couldn't possibly be abused enough by this lot, Spike goes all hulk grabs him through the wall and takes a nice little bite out of him. Lovely. Are those even James Marster's arms?

I'VE GOT A THEORY, THAT'S IT'S A TRIGGER! Couldn't help myself, I'm a dork. Anyways, how does Xander still remember the army stuff? You'd think it would be out of his mind by now. Who am I asking these questions to? I've been asking a lot of them. They're not rhetorical btw so if anyone wants to set me straight please do.

What's up with this guy? Zombie Woods! Braaaaaains.

*sigh* give me a moment...okay moment over, sadly. I don't care if you're not big on the Spike/Buffy love, you can't deny how beautiful this scene is. She believes in him. It takes a lot for Buffy to believe in someone so this is kind of a big deal. This scene kind of reminded me of the closing one in Intervention (season 5) because of the look on Spike's face. These are the moments I love to see between these two. Where they genuinely surprise each other. Once again, it's beautiful.

HOLY MOSES DAWN KICKED ASS AGAINST THAT ONE BRINGER. And then she screwed up her shining moment by hovering over him with a knife instead of stabbing him. Think Dawnie, THINK. Dun dun dunnnn The First is re-introduced. Scary shit.

Wow watchers council that was rude blowing up like that.

Spike clearly hadn't suffered enough from the brutal trials for his soul so lets have The First kidnap and bleed him. And then let's have it take on the form of the girl he's in love with to really screw with his head. Yeah! I like seeing Buffy evil though, ngl. I sometimes think Buffy should have been the one to live on the dark side in season 6 rather than Willow. It would have made more sense, honestly.

Overall: One of the better episodes from season 7. I prefer the first half of the season to the second half aside from Touched and Chosen. Giles wasn't in this episode and that's pretty much the only thing missing.
Rating: 7/10 (I don't know how I should do my ratings anymore, any suggestions?)
